Sales Order Office Assistant – Yeovil

Cavity Trays Ltd based in Yeovil, manufacture products for the UK building industry.
We wish to appoint a confident, computer literate person, to work within our busy sales order processing office.
The job function primarily consists of processing & progressing sales orders with the ability to handle a large volume of incoming calls. Other office duties include taking responsibility for the customer filing system, preparing cad templates, review and action where necessary the daily consignment manifest.
Following product training, the role also includes a considerable amount of telephone work, taking customer orders, quoting prices, chasing production & deliveries, dealing with customer queries, discussing client requirements, etc. So a confident but polite and calm telephone manner is important.
This is not a telesales position!
Complete product and software training will be given but a basic knowledge of construction and some previous experience of a busy sales office environment would be an advantage.
No particular qualifications required, but educated to an appropriate level in Maths and English.
Office hours are 08.00 to 17.00 – Monday to Thursday, 16.30 finish on Fridays.
Holiday entitlement 20 days + all Bank Holidays.
Salary TBA subject to experience.
